Advertising on the Web
The Internet is a great way to meet customers. Message boards, chat rooms and other on-line “social” pages are excellent ways to “advertise on the web”. You can create an online flyer and send it to your friends via email, or send the link to your site through any of the “Instant Messenger” programs. Explore the many Internet Service Providers ways to find customers on the web. Be creative!

Pay Per Click
All major search engines have "Pay Per Click" advertising programs of which you can take advantage. When users run a search, let's say for "credit cards", the search engine will produce a list of website addresses relating to "credit cards". All the top listed sites on that search page have paid to get that positioning. The way they pay is "per click" or each time someone clicks on the link to their site.

The most popular search engine as of now is Google.com. Google is a very powerful and effective web-advertising tool for businesses of every size. Pay Per Click advertising is a great way to drive customers to your website. They only charge a $5 set up charge, so this can be a very inexpensive way to advertise. The good part is, you pay only when people click on your ad. The program also has great monitoring and charting options for you to see all the activity on your website. Follow the directions below to learn all you need to know about Google AdWords.

Log on to www.google.com and click on “advertise with us”. From here look for the Google AdWords program. Their AdWords program is described in detail, including tours and “frequently asked questions” regarding the program. Read through all the information on the AdWords program to answer all your questions about “pay per click” advertising.

Putting Ads on the Web

USA Card Service recommen ds the top 10 credit cards for you to promote, but as a USA Card Service Referral Agent, you actually have access to sell over 25 credit cards. However to do this, requires a bit of Internet and computer programming knowledge, as well as access to websites.
From your website, go to your “Commission Account Login”. This will land you on a Sunspot Webworks page called “Get Links”. This is where you can obtain links to all the credit cards that you are eligible to sell. Also under the same menu, is a page to obtain “banners” and “approved text” to put on websites. The difficult part is having a place to put the links. They must be put on websites that you currently own, or on websites on which you have permission to advertise.
